Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity was founded Oct. 15, 1898 at State Female Normal School (now Longwood University) in Farmville, Va. With over 225,000 initiated members, ZTA’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of our members through innovative programming, which emphasizes leadership development, service to others, academic achievement and continued personal growth for women, with a commitment to friendship and the future based on the sisterhood, values and traditions of the past.
ZTAFeed is one of many tools Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity uses to fulfill its mission. Through lists (inspired by BuzzFeed), this site allows ZTA to highlight important educational and Fraternity topics. Through ZTAFeed, we have found that humor is a powerful teaching tool and a picture really can be worth 1,000 words.
ZTAFeed began in September 2013, as ZTA celebrated National Hazing Prevention Week. To educate our members and others about hazing prevention, ZTA developed lists geared to highlight positive member experiences and combat hazing.
